VIEWSContact Form 7 is the most popular and oldest WordPress contact form plugin. It is easy to integrate and equally easy to deploy.
For setup contact form 7 follow the below steps:
Log in to the WordPress Admin Dashboard.
Go to Plugins ? Add New and then type Contact Form 7 in the search box.
Once find, install and activate the plugin by clicking on Install ? Activate.
After the plugin is installed, you’ll see a menu item labelled “Contact” in the sidebar of your WordPress dashboard.
One contact form is already available for immediate use. Right next to the name Contact form 1, you can see the shortcode like [contact-form-7 id=”6″ title=”Contact form 1″].
Copy this shortcode, paste it in your contact page and you can use it.
For Create Form, click Contact -> Add New. Then add tags as per your requirement with the label.
For example, To add a phone number field, place your cursor where you want the field to appear and click on the tel button.
Doing this will launch a popup box where you can customize your field.
In the Name field, set a name for the created form field. This is the name that you will use to identify the field.
The default value box is where you can set the value that the form field should have. This value appears by default in the field, but the user can clean it out and write in a new value.
If you feel that the default form is too simple, then you can give Class and Id to your element as per your HTML design.
If you want to set the required field, check the ‘Required’ box.
After all, Field adds, you need to save that contact form.
You can edit a mail template for mail that is to be sent as a result of form submission.
In this, you can set your Message format, subject line and email id in which mail will send.
Tags you can use in a mail template contain only one word in brackets and look like [your-name].
You can edit messages that are used for various situations.
Then save your form from the sidebar. Set a shortcode on your page and your contact form is ready to use.
